Full Moon Rising

We lay the pieces on the floor before installing

Getting the pieces through the maze of scaffolding is a highlight of our day, though we'd rather use the elevator
(it's broken)

Dixie taking care of her creation

The beginning of the second to last row!

We've started using lighter mortar since our grout will get lighter up here and it's always nice to have your mortar  matchy-match your grout

We're pretty happy to be near the top!

Sorry

Despite Mike's best efforts to keep them away, the scaffolding guys finally finish the job

Kate and Mike making two levels work as one

With the scaffolding extended, we can reach the window safely

Looks like it's going to be a nice night

End of day 14

Thirteen Going On Thirty

Swimming with the lily pads

The lack of scaffolding didn't stop Mike from installing

End of day 13

Apple And Oranges

It's time to put these on the wall

Kate will bend over backward, Linda Blair like, to make that happen

There is still a lot of wall to cover

With help from above, we progress

Another difficult spot to reach but Mike manages

Lucky Number Three

Our scaffolding has arrived

First piece of the day

"So is pink my color or what?"

End of day nine

The glue that makes this work

Now that we are on the new scaffolding nothing will be easy again on this installation. We have to wear a harness and in addition to being heavy and uncomfortable, it's also very difficult to move while strapping yourself in and trying to move around each other on two narrow platforms.
Dixie makes the most of it in hard to reach places

Luckily, you can cut and move pieces of a mosaic to make it fit perfectly

End of day ten

Mike and Kate putting in a piece with very little room to spare

Two Blobs Don't Make a Right

The two blobs...of grout

Day Eight

Grouting all we can till we have more scaffolding to continue going up

And not being dangerous

Dixie and Kate on a research excursion

End of day eight, the suitcase is because we are going to do repair work at another job site for a few days... see you again on day nine!
